  From the staff to the beautiful water creatures, this trip was so well worth it! Got to experience magnificent whales breaching and wild dolphins being fed! Beautiful ocean water and sand! The staff was so polite and resourceful! I do recommend to bring some snacks or extra packed lunch because from about 3-5:30pm, the restaurants are closed and the coffee cafe and chip store are the only things opened and we were hungry for more than than then! Thank you all so much for an unforgettable experience!

  Fantastic day from start to finish - very well looked after with drinks vouchers for on board the transfer from Brisy and a lovely lunch while whale watching. Staff were friendly and informative, we saw loads of whales! The rush to see the first one meant there was a bit of crowding at the front, but soon people spread out and there was plenty of viewing room! We chilled out on the beach for a while, other than the pool not a whole lot else to do and grabbed some snacks from the shop so can't comment on the restaurants. Personally very glad we didn't spend the extra money to feed the dolphins as they only got one fish each and we could see the dolphins better from the jetty. Saw the new baby calf! Would highly recommend, snorkelling the wrecks looked good too!

  We saw plenty of whales and dolphins. Unfortunately the weather turned bad before our departure making boarding the boats very difficult and scary. Fortunately for all of us, your staff performed admirably. They stayed calm and reassured everyone of the situation while working at a million miles an hour to fix make the problems making it as safe as they could. Although every one of the staff there deserved a commendation I believe that both Josh and Jessica (from the eco centre) were an absolute credit to the resort - very professional. The speed that we saw Josh moving made us almost believe that you had him plugged into a power source - well done!

  Apartment room had no couch, only a trundle bed with bare mattresses - apparently there are no rooms available with a couch. Beach restaurant poor quality steak (top prices) with a trainee chef on duty Chinese restaurant excellent food and service - so much better than the other restaurant. Excellent tour guides and great place to get in touch with nature and marine life, but so many areas to improve.

  It's just an exciting experience to see whales and beautiful dolphins! The island and facilities are top notch. If you never, ever go you'll never, ever know... All Queenslanders should appreciate what's on their doorstep.

  We took our nearly 6 (boy) and nearly 4 year old (girl) to Tangalooma for one night only. It was like an advert for Queensland Tourism. The waters are warm and the sand and wide so perfect for learning to snorkel and having a safe swim for the littlest one. The sand dune sliding is truly a good laugh and exhilarating, not for the faint hearted. My daughter rode on my back, my son went alone. The youngest child riding alone was around 5. The dolphins are really wonderful to see, especially if you don’t agree with Marine zoo’s like Seaworld. It’s plain that while these wild dolphins are habituated to the nightly feed they aren’t tame or performing and such great care is taken for them and their preservation as wild animals it’s actually quite surprising that they do feed them in this way. Having said that, we loved being able to feed them, it’s done with the guidance of a ranger who takes your hand and walks you into the water telling you to put the fish under the water to feed the dolphin. All this makes perfect sense. The only drawback to Tangalooma is that once you book your trip you are then required to attend various desks to get tokens to confirm your participation or to get boarding passes for the ferry home. This adds a logistical element to the stay that is entirely unnecessary to the guest who has booked in advance and expects to do what they have booked without further organising.

  Myself and my son went to a day trip to Moreton with whale watching. I've been to Moreton before and am very fond of it..it's a stunning island, and only seems to get better with each visit. We were so lucky with the whale watching as we saw so many, a mum and calf who stayed with us a while..and lots of males in all directions. Lots of breaches too! Just amazing! We caught the sunset on the way back and the water was calm so it was beautiful. In hindsight only doing the day trip, we should have caught the early ferry as we only had an hour or so on the island (we caught the 10am). But otherwise it was a fantastic day out!

  It is very exciting to watch the gentle humpback whales in our life. For a couple hours, we tried to get the best photographs of the whales. Sadly, we wish have a chance to watch the whales breaching, spyhopping or fluke slapping. We hope all people come forward to protect and respect the whales and other marine life for their future. Thank you.
