    A fabulous day out. Thank you to our Perth family for the early Christmas present. We spent a fabulous day cruising out to the island but the best treat was the fabulous lunch at Isola Restaurant. It was amazing. We shared a tasting T-Bone steak with a great rocket salad and a nice glass of wine. Would highly recommend you book so you don’t miss out on this gem. The bus tour around the island is a must on a warm day and you don’t feel like you have time to walk it after a long lunch. A wonderful time out.

    From the time we ran into Mal as we were watching swans on the Swan to the return trip, nothing and no amount of requests for information was too much trouble. His commentary as we sailed down the Swan from Perth was extensive. He even serves at the little cafe on the Express and helped with directions when we ran into him on the island. Mal is a great ambassador for Rottnest Express and is keen to let you know what other adventures you can do with the company. The trip down the Swan was informative and extolled Perth, WA, its geography, people and all its wonders. We watched in Fremantle as the crew efficiently, quickly and carefully loaded passengers, their bikes and baggage. And unloaded with the same efficiency in Rotto. The only negative was the dried spray on the windows which made it difficult to take photos from inside when we wanted. And not even easy to see through. A good day, nevertheless.

    The island was beautiful to explore. I suggest you get there the earliest as possible to enjoy it. Everything you need is in the island.

    Great ferry service - hop on hop off bus excellent - lunch at Thomsons - seeing the quokkas of course and lots of walking around the sights - ferry trip home and being able to catch an earlier ferry. Staff members so quick to collect rubbish (coffee cups etc) on the trip. Price very reasonable. An all round excellent day. Thank you

    Good trip loved hearing about the history. The Bus trip around the island gave a great overall explanation of the island. The history as many times was sad and is an important part of the island

    You will spend more time docked in various port in Fremantle and another shed for loading of gear than on water. Exhausted from sitting on the boat for more than 2 hours, losing valuable time, while wasting tíme at ports. I presume this service works also as a supply run. Do not recommend. Would be better if the provider declared the time lost.

    I booked for 4 adults then the price has reduce by over $100. They are not offering a refund. So not advantage with booking early. Also got overcharged with luggage labels that are not needed.

    The quokkas and baby Joey’s. Nice weather and the hop on hop off was nice. Will go back in the futuer

    On time, very efficient, and crew were very helpful and friendly assisting my spouse getting on and off the boat when partially disabled.

    The Rottnest Express was a comfortable and easy way to get to and from the island. While on the island we also took they bus tour which was fabulous with the wonderful Jodie providing an informative and entertaining commentary along the way. It made for a great day.
